Home of the Super Dogs

Known as the “Home of the Super Dogs” Kombinalong Kennels was established in 1979. Narelle Hammond-Robertson’s lifelong commitment to showing and breeding quality dogs started at the age of six as her grandfather bred and exhibited German Shepherds and her parents bred and exhibited Welsh Corgi Pembrokes. Purchasing her first Australian Cattle Dog “Jody” in 1978 as a companion/show dog Narelle immediately fell in love with the breed. Under the Kombinalong prefix Narelle celebrates three decades of quality breeding and has established her kennels as one of the leading Australian Cattle Dog Kennels worldwide with over 80 champions both in Australia and overseas exporting quality dogs to 15 countries to date.

Narelle’s love for the breed has lead her to write two books specifically written with the new Australian Cattle dog owner in mind.

As the breed is plagued with genetic disorders Narelle is a staunch advocate for genetic testing of breed specific disorders. All Kombinalong Australian Cattle Dogs have been health tested for PRCD (Blindness), Deafness, hips and elbows.
